We staff small and senior on purpose. When we do hire, it's rare and slow. If you'd work here, the page below is the honest version of how that goes.
Senior only. We don't run a junior pipeline. Not because juniors aren't valuable — they are — but because we don't have the throughput to train someone well and we won't hire someone to figure it out alone.
References-driven. Three people who've shipped with you, on the record. We call them. We're less interested in your portfolio than in what your last collaborator says about how you handled the Wednesday before the launch.
Paid trial project. After two interviews, a paid 1–2 week trial on a real (non-critical) slice of an engagement. Same rate as the role. Either side can call it after week one with no obligation.
We close fast or we close slow on purpose. If we say no, you'll hear it inside a week. If we say yes, we move quickly. We never ghost.
Senior full-stack engineer, end-to-end SaaS.
Comfortable owning a SaaS product from infra to billing to UI. Has shipped Postgres + TypeScript + Stripe stacks in production for at least two engagements you can point to. Cares about typography.
- Owns a feature end-to-end — schema, API, UI, deploy, monitoring.
- Writes the runbook before the on-call.
- Reads the support inbox.
- Pushes back on scope when it should be pushed back.
- Comfortable being the only senior on a 6-week engagement.
